Herceptin in combination with taxanes improves overall survival

 

Data from two pivotal trials of Herceptin in combination with taxanes – HO648g and M77001 – have established Herceptin as the foundation of care in first-line MBC.1-3

Data from a follow-up analysis of trial M77001 showed a substantial long-term survival benefit for Herceptin, with 20% of patients in the Herceptin plus docetaxel arms surviving for >4 years.4
