About Herceptin

Herceptin (trastuzumab) is a humanised monoclonal antibody designed to specifically target HER2, whose overexpression/gene amplification is an adverse prognostic factor in breast cancer. By activating the immune system and suppressing HER2, Herceptin delivers high cure rates for women with HER2-positive early breast cancer and extends survival for women with HER2-positive metastatic disease. Therefore, Herceptin is now firmly established as the foundation of care for women with HER2 positive breast cancer across all stages of the disease.

Herceptin’s unique mechanism of action

Herceptin extends survival across all stages of HER2-positive breast cancer by activating the immune system and suppressing HER2.
